Former professional wrestler Bret Sergeant Hart (yes, that really is his middle name) made a name for himself in the 1980s by wrestling in the World Wrestling Federation. In 1997, he joined the World Championship Wrestling league under the name Montreal Screwjob. He began his wrestling career in high school, primarily to please his father. Hart continued wrestling throughout college, although he always had mixed feelings about the sport. Injuries and weight fluctuation put a bitter taste in his mouth. However, his father pushed him to continue, despite Hart’s personal desire to do film making and acting. Hart’s long and successful career has resulted in a load of wrestling titles, placing him in the hall-of-fame, and almost certainly makes him the greatest Canadian wrestler to compete in the U.S. Hart’s personal life has had several ups and downs, including two divorces and a very well-publicized beef with wrestler Ric Flair. Hart has four children, 2 grandchildren, and plenty of money and assets to keep the entire family very happy.
