In all, Holyfield’s career lasted from 1984 to 2011. He ended his career on a win against Dane Brian Nielsen. Holyfield joined a boxing club at the young age of 7. He maintained a highly active career in boxing from that year onward, even winning several junior competitions. Like many boxers, Holyfield’s life inside and outside of the ring has been filled with controversy.
